<center>•☽────✧˖°˖ ✫・✦・✫ ˖°˖✧────☾•</center>
This is a sample system database in <a href="https://twinery.org/">Twine</a> coded by the <a href="https://localvoid.neocities.org/">Local Void</a>, a polyfragmented system. It is free for anyone to use or modify, with or without credit.
This intended to be a basis for making a personal database of members of your system, as well as storing personal notes about your system. It is first and foremost an accessability tool for people with dissociative conditions, meant for helping those people create tools for themselves (i.e. your own database). However, anyone can use this document to help them make anything they find useful (e.g. a database of OCs, therapy notes about people in your life, etc.)
We created this database in the wake of the discontinuation of SimplyPlural. While it's nice to have apps that can help you keep track of things about your system, we believe that tools created by yourself with things you have on your computer are the safest and most secure digital resources.
While a physical notebook would be even safer and more secure, this is not always feasible for large or complex systems, and while starting up a database like this may be hard for a large system, it is relatively easy to maintain once it is created. Furthermore, while a template is provided in the document, you can copy-paste SimplyPlural descriptions (minus images and with markdown converted to HTML) onto the database entries.
This sample database, then, is intended to help you create your own resources for your own system. If you download it to a computer that has Twine installed, you can upload it into Twine and edit it as you please.
<center>•☽────✧˖°˖ ✫・✦・✫ ˖°˖✧────☾•</center>
Each page is set up so that it can be easily modified into your own personal database, and while you can change the unicode decorations to anything you like (including emojis, although I don't think they look as good on computers), we are also planning to make different designs, as well as different templates and setups that may be geared towards things like complex systems.
If you change the unicode, remember to make it so that the symbol that is listed before member names on lists is a symbol that does not appear anywhere else on the page! This is for ease of member counts, as explained elsewhere in the document.
Any text in {curly brackets} is intended as explanation of how to use the page and is intended to be removed when actually creating your database.
<center>•☽────✧˖°˖ ✫・✦・✫ ˖°˖✧────☾•</center>
This document will not be explaining how to use Twine, because that information is available in the documentation for the software. A database made in Twine is relatively simple, as it only really uses links and not variables or game mechanics.
If you don't like the template included in this sample, you can use any template intended for PluralKit. Many SimplyPlural templates can be converted to a Twine page, but you might need to edit the markdown or images into HTML.<center>.・。.・ <b>Members by name</b> ・. 。・.</center>

{On this page, list every member of your system alphabetically, with the star unicode character preceding each name. Run CTRL+F for that character while test playing this page of the database. That number is the total number of members of your system, which can be written in the "total" section. This is how it works for calculating totals for roles, demographics, etc.}
{For a sample template, see [[this page|Page template (do not link)]]. When creating entries, title the page after the member's name and link it on this page by typing it in double brackets after the unicode character used for the list.}
{When organizing entries, you should probably make alphabetically-based clusters of pages and arrange them somewhat close to where this list's page is.}<center>.・。.・ <b>Members by role</b> ・. 。・.</center>

{I only included a few basic roles; you can add whatever you want by copy-pasting the unicode character for the list and writing the name of the role in double brackets.}<center>.・。.・ <b>Members by identity</b> ・. 。・.</center>

Not all systems would find this important to keep track of, so you don't need to keep this page as-is, but it's an example of traits that would exist across headmates that you could keep track of with a page like this.}
{To make a similar page based on another topic - e.g. hobbies, times of day they front, etc. - copypaste this page, but change "Members by identity" to "Members by [trait]", or whatever phrase fits better for you. Give this page a relatively simple title, like how this page is just called "Identity", and create listings on it by typing words or phrases for categorization - e.g. "Writers", "Day fronters", etc. Check the first page on the list for more info.}<center>.・。.・ <b>Caretakers</b> ・. 。・.</center>

{While our system doesn't log front, this is an imprecise but general way of keeping track of who was fronting or present at what times of day. If you don't know who was fronting or nobody was co-con/etc., you can write "blurry", "unsure", "N/A", "various", or anything that describes the situation. For system member names, you can put double brackets around them to make them link to their pages.}
{To fill it in, write the names of who was fronting/etc. instead of "[name}", and write the date in question instead of "[date]". The most intuitive way to use this is probably reverse chronological order, i.e. most recent entries at the start. The template has been provided twice on this page for ease of filling out one and using the other to copy-paste. The front log template can be accessed [[here|Front log template (do not link)]].}<center>•☽────✧˖°˖ ✫・<b>[date]</b>・✫ ˖°˖✧────☾•</center>
